Xinjiang is a multi-religious area. Major religions are Islam, Lamaism (Tibetan Buddhism), Buddhism, Christianity, Catholic, Orthodox, and shamanism, in which Islam is the Uygur, Kazak, Hui, Kirgiz, Tajik, Ozbek, Tatar, Salar, Dongxiang, security, more than 10 nation believe. Islam in Xinjiang's social life has a greater impact. Currently, the region has more than 24,000 sites for religious activities, Block, of which 23 900 mosques, 29,000 religious personnel to fully meet the religious needs of the masses.
