"Xinjiang through my lens" is a photo contest jointly held by China Radio International and the Media Office of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the year of 2011. Afterwards tens of thousands of netizens across the world participated in the voting of these photos taken in Xinjiang and 360  people  were  finally chosen  out as lucky netizens. In order to get  Xinjiang known and  understood by a wider  range of people  across the world, China  Radio  International and the Media  Office  of  the  Xinjiang  Uygur  Autonomous  Region  this  year have selected 11 luckiest netizens taking part into the voting process and brought them to Xinjiang to personally experience what is currently happening in that wonderful piece of land.
